Reaching your potential

Do you suffer from the symptoms of anxiety? Do you often have panic attacks? Does it seem as if they just creep up on you without your permission? Is it hard to manage life because of these symptoms? If you said YES to any of these questions then I would love to help you understand yourself as well as your symptoms!
Anxiety can be defined as the response of an individual to a threat, real or imagined. It is a process, to some extent, that can be present in all areas of your life. Anxiety isn’t always bad, it can assist us to cope with tense situations, and can motivate us to work harder or stay focused when working towards a goal. However, chronic anxiety that is excessive, irrational and debilitating can interfere with our overall quality of life. The trick is being able to understand your emotions and find ways to know when those symptoms are true and when they are not! Do you suffer from symptoms of depression? Does it feel as if things just keep going wrong? Does it seem as if there are more negative emotions than positive? Does it seem as if no one understand you or what you are feeling? If you said YES to any of these questions then I would love to hear your story and see how I can be a guide for you on your journey! During episodes of depression, people frequently exhibit extreme thinking patterns, and cognitive therapy can help them bring their thinking into perspective. If, for example, you see themselves as worthless or are overly focused on failure, we can explore evidence that helps you see yourself in a different light. |
